Jensen Motors was a British manufacturer known for producing high-performance, luxury cars, particularly in the 1950s through the 1970s.

The company was founded in 1922 and made a name for itself with innovative and stylish vehicles, many of which were known for their unique combination of luxury and performance. Jensen was known for its innovative designs and high-quality craftsmanship, often incorporating advanced technologies and luxury features into their cars.

They worked with well-known coachbuilders and designers, including Carrozzeria Touring of Italy, to create some of their most iconic models. Jensen cars were often equipped with powerful engines, with a focus on providing thrilling performance. The company was known for producing sporty and capable vehicles that combined style with speed.

One of the most famous Jensen models, the Interceptor was a luxury grand tourer equipped with a powerful V8 engine, often sourced from Chrysler or other manufacturers. The car featured a distinctive design, blending sporty and refined elements, and became a favorite among enthusiasts for its performance and luxury.

In addition to their performance, Jensen cars were also known for their comfortable interiors, which often featured high-quality leather upholstery, wood paneling, and premium materials. The brand catered to a more affluent market looking for both sportiness and refinement.

Despite its innovations, Jensen Motors faced financial difficulties in the 1970s. The company went bankrupt in 1976, and production ceased. Although several attempts were made to revive the brand in the years that followed, Jensen Motors is no longer in operation today.
