Lykan Motors is a Lebanese automotive manufacturer that gained worldwide attention for producing the Lykan HyperSport, an ultra-luxury, high-performance hypercar.

Lykan Motors was founded in 2012 by W Motors, a company based in Beirut, Lebanon. W Motors was created with the goal of building an exclusive, high-performance supercar with a unique identity and character, combining cutting-edge technology with luxury craftsmanship.

The Lykan HyperSport was their first and flagship model, announced to the public in 2013. It was presented as a limited-production hypercar with a focus on both extreme performance and exclusivity, making it a competitor to other high-end supercar brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren.

The Lykan HyperSport is powered by a 3.7-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine developed by RUF Automobile (a German tuning company). It produces an astounding 780 horsepower and 708 lb-ft of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 245 mph (395 km/h), making it one of the fastest production cars in the world at the time of its release.

At the time of its launch, the Lykan HyperSport had a price tag of around $3.4 million, making it one of the most expensive production cars in the world. The high price reflects the bespoke nature of the vehicle, the high-tech features, and the limited production. Given that only 7 units were produced, the car is incredibly exclusive, and many of its owners are high-profile individuals or collectors.

Lykan Motors has partnered with various prestigious companies to develop the HyperSport and future models.
