Pescarolo Automobiles is a French manufacturer of high-performance sports cars and racing cars, founded by Henri Pescarolo, a former French racing driver and Le Mans legend.
The company was established in 2001 with the vision of creating endurance racing-inspired street cars and developing cars with cutting-edge technology.
Founder: Henri Pescarolo is best known for his remarkable career in endurance racing, particularly at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he competed for many years and won several times. After retiring from racing, Pescarolo established Pescarolo Automobiles to bring the knowledge and experience he gained from his racing career to the world of road cars and motorsports.
The Pescarolo 01 was the company’s first major racing car and was designed for endurance racing, specifically for competition in the Le Mans Prototype (LMP1) class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Following the Pescarolo 01, the Pescarolo 03 was introduced as the next generation of endurance racing prototypes, continuing the company’s commitment to producing cutting-edge race cars for the LMP1 class.
The Pescarolo Stratégie was a road-going concept car created by Pescarolo Automobiles. It was intended to be a high-performance road car inspired by the company's racing experience, with features such as lightweight construction, cutting-edge suspension, and track-focused aerodynamics.
The Pescarolo team also competed as a manufacturer in the Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), continuously refining the technology and performance of their cars.
Today, Pescarolo Automobiles is remembered as a symbol of French motorsport heritage, blending cutting-edge technology with the rich tradition of Le Mans-style racing.
